June Events
In Canada, June 1st marks the beginning of National Indigenous History Month. Throughout the month, Indigenous communities and organizations across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area hosts events, workshops, festivals, and celebrations that provide opportunities to learn, connect, and engage with Indigenous cultures, histories, and perspectives beyond the York University campuses.
On June 21st Indigenous peoples will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day this year, making it an exceptional time to get out into community.
