Greg Loft is Haudenosaunee and a registered member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. He has worked in the counselling field for over 40 years, and worked for Mohawk Family Services for 21 years. He has been involved with providing Traditional medicines to community members as well as Cultural Awareness teachings for several organizations, on territory and off. Greg has worked in a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center for five years as well as working with Corrections Canada with Indigenous Sex Offenders, and is currently providing Aboriginal Approach Resolution (AAR) as well as mainstream Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) throughout Canada. He is identified as a Fire Keeper by his community and as time goes on, he is being acknowledged as a Traditional Counsellor for his community.
Greg Loft visits us once a month, and is available over zoom on an as-needed basis.
